There are great nudist spots all across the country. My wife and I love traveling and visiting these great places and meeting nudists everywhere. Sometimes, even local nudists don’t know what is available near them. This leads to the question, “Are there any West Virginia nude beaches or nude resorts?”
There are not a lot of nudist spots for West Virginia nudists but they still have options. While there are no public West Virginia nude beaches there is a highly-rated West Virginia nudist resort. This option gives nudists plenty of chances to soak up the sun, relax, and socialize in the buff.

According to the website findlaw.com, West Virginia defines indecent exposure as “an intentional exposure of private parts under circumstances that are likely to cause affront or alarm. The penalties for indecent exposure are higher if the exposure was done for the purpose of sexual gratification.”
Minimum penalties for indecent exposure are up to 90 days in jail, a $250 fine, and an indecent exposure record. I would really prefer not to risk it and go to a spot where it was legal to go nude.
According to West Virginia Public Broadcasting, “West Virginia state law does not specifically prohibit women going topless.” So women can at least free their nipples if they want to. However, this can be rather uncomfortable if you are the only one doing it.
I would think that West Virginia nudists would be much more comfortable going to a place where nudity is both legal and accepted. I recommend checking out the West Virginia Nudist Resorts section. This year-round West Virginia nudist resort is just a fantastic spot to visit. It is a real gem and a must-visit if you are in the area. You will find that most people are nude while at this resort (nude outside weather permitting) but nudity is only required at the pools, hot tubs, and sauna.
We have had so much fun at resorts like this one. Nothing is better than relaxing in the hot tub or the pool on a hot summer day while chatting with new friends.

Visitor reviews of the Avalon resort give this place high marks for the friendliness of the staff and other visitors. Some say that this West Virginia nude resort is clean but a little dated in some spots. I was impressed by the overall positive sentiment about this resort.
You will need to pay a day fee in order to go to the Avalon resort. Day fee rates are $30 for singles and $50 for couples. There are discounts for AANR members and weekly rates. There is also a discounted 1st-time visit rate that is $20 for couples and $10 for singles.
